Over 28 years ago the Lord transformed my life in a way that man could never get credit for. I was angry, and searching for meaning in life. In my search, I found drugs, a party all the time lifestyle, and drinking as a means for escaping reality. My anger destroyed friendships, relationships, and separated my family. My anger led me to be on trial, in jail, and without hope. The reality was that I was lost and I was destined for destruction. I found Christ at a service in 1993 at CC Golden Springs. Pastor Raul Ries shared the simple truth of God’s word in a way that I felt that God was moving me like never before to open my heart to Him. I asked Christ into my heart and life and He has been working on me ever since. God had a plan for my life, which included my beautiful wife Michelle, and two boys, Noah & Nehemiah.
“I have been crucified with Christ so that, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galations 2:20
I have had the privelege of serving in the Calvary Chapel movement for over 28 years through College Ministry, youth ministry, outreach ministries, missions, teaching in Calvary Chapel Bible College, and as Assisting Pastor. The journey has been exhilarating. The Lord has led me into opportunities to preach and exalt Christ. I believe what God has done in my life to be real and accessible. This is the message I preach daily. God is accessible and He desires to transform your life. On behalf of the staff at CC Eastvale, we pray this ministry will point you to the hope that is in Christ and lead you into the life that He has planned for you all along.
Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead…make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom [be] glory forever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21

In 1978 I asked Jesus into my life, not because I was on drugs, addicted to drink, nor wanted for any crime, but because He showed me that I don’t have to do any of those things to be separated from Him, In fact I don’t have to do anythingk and that was the realization which spoke to me. Romans 3:23. Being raised in a religious system that offered a human penance for my sins, I saw that you could do just about anything and a few quick prayers I could go right bact out and do them again without any regard to what I just did. With a Godly mother preaching and praying for her family, I surrendered my life to the Lord.
39 years ago , I married my high school sweetheart, Teri, and our love for each other continues to grow stronger. We have 3 daughters, Michele, Kristy and Jennifer, and 3 grandchildren, Micah, Caleb and Abigail. After being dishcarged from the Navy, we started attending CC West Covina, sitting under the teaching of Pastor Raul Ries. The Lord then moved us out to San Bernardino, attending CC San Bernardino, where we sat under the teaching of Pastor John Miller for 28 years. Not long after I began to be involved with the ushering ministry, serving as head usher along with youth events and mission trips to Mexico.
The Lord has now brought us out to the city of Eastvale, serving here beside my wife for the past 6 years in any capacity needed and now as assistant pastor, of which I am blessed and honored to serve the body and community. John 6:68 “Lord to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life”
